Time Off to Recharge the Batteries

Posted by tracy on March 7, 2013 at 5:10 PM

I have been working long hours and everyday to build up my stock to take to market with no time off, so the other day I decided to take time off, to recharge the right brain thought processes. It is hard taking time off, to shut off from the ever long list of things to do going round in round inside my head.

So, that day was rest day. I spent a lovely day with my 4 grandchildren. It was a great morning with the eldest who had that day, Wed off from school and the two youngest who are 7 months and 2 years old. We all had a great morning at the library and a cup of baby chinos for afters. :>;) Taking time out to enjoying a day with my grandchildren was just what I needed to get refocused onto what is needed to make my first market stall a success.

I am new to blogging and putting ideas and thoughts onto paper so to speak.  For many years i kept diaries but they were priviate thoughts that had to be kept between me and my diary.  Thought for many years I wrote reports in my job and had to construct my thoughts into meaningful sentences, my diaries were allways random thoughts and short sentences.  So, blogging is not easy for me, but thanks to the help of online bloggers who have gone before me and share with us all how they organise and plan their blogs. I am spending this year blogging my journey into the online business and monthly market planning. Blogging takes as much planning as does an online business and market stall selling. :)

One blogger whom I have read many of her articles and emails, is Kerryanne from the Shabby Art Boutique Blog. She has created a free blog planner that you can download. I am new to blogging and thought I would never use the blog planner for blogging but used it for my Etsy Shop.

Little did I know that I would use this planner to start this blog and plan what my business focus would be for the month of Feb and March. The 23, March, 2013 is my very first market stall. So, for the next few weeks I plan to share my experience with the preparations, the creative process and a collection of the good and the bad of the Market experience.

There is so much to do, so much to plan, so much to learn! I hope this is not too boring. I would like to make this a journey of fun, filled with hard work, and lots of my favorite things to do... create new things!

Here are some book marks I made for the market in March. They are the colours of my grandson's school uniform.

Happy Blogging,
